Pacific SD90403MAC locomotive
The
UP's SD90403MACs were
built with the older 710-series engines, as the newer 265H powerplants
were not ready for service.. The locomotives were made to be compatible
with the new engines, but reengining never occurred, and the UP's later
8900 series SD90MACs are being scrapped to provide parts for
the older "Big Macs". 8185 is seen here far from home, on CSX tracks in
Coraopolis, PA.
