Maryland Midland Rolling Stock
Now part of the Genesee & Wyoming system, the Maryland Midland was founded in the 1980s, eventually operating 70 miles of former Conrail and CSX (former Western Maryland) trackage in northern Maryland, serving Highfield, Taneytown, Walkersville, and Emory Grove. The shortline's main motive power consists of seven ex CSX and LTV Mining GP38-3s, and three former Norfolk & Western GP9s
