DEEX Coal Cars
Although operating out of Michigan, Detroit Edison trains and equipment
have been no strangers to Western Pennsylvania over the years, and I
often saw blue and white U30Cs hauling unit coal trains over the then-P&LE near
Pittsburgh during the 1980s. Such sights are history, but DEEX rolling
stock can still be seen.
