SD70MACs
Save for a few former Conrail SD80MACs, CSX's SD70s are the road's most
powerful EMD-built locomotives. All of Conrails's standard cab SD70s
went to Norfolk Southern, with CSX buying the comfort-cab SD70M and
then the AC traction-motor SD70MAC. The latter unit is the most
numerous, with over 245 rostered. There are also a small number of the
SD70ACe model with wider radiators and a 4,300hp rating.
