CSX 2668. This unit started out life some thirty years before this 2009
photo as a Louisville & Nashville unit, and is now finished in the
"Dark Future" scheme.
GP40s
Some pre Dash-2 EMDs still survivie on CSX, but former Seaboard Coast
Line 2346 is no longer "officially" a GP40, having lost its prime mover
in the conversion to an RDMT road slug. Seen here running light on the
former P&LE
with a 6400-class GP40-2.

6089, in need of some fresh paint, is seen heading eastbound towards Pittsburgh. This
locomotive may well
have ridden the same rails decades earlier in its original identity as Baltimore
& Ohio 4190.
